Our three sponsored Melliosport academy drivers had a brilliant weekend at the Kartmasters GP, each one of them was put up against some of the very best IAME X30 drivers in the world, but that didn’t stop them one bit…
Melliosport owner Les Latham said ‘We've just about recovered from our first Kartmasters British Kart GP event! And what a thrilling event it was too. The Senior X30 grid was THE most competitive with arguably the best drivers in Europe present!
Unfortunately, we didn't quite make the A-Final but we’ve had many highlights over the event, which were: Anna was the highest placed female driver in Senior X30! Richard qualified 9th in group on Saturday and was 4th on the Grid for the B-final. And Elinor showed great improvements during the weekend despite a lack of pre-race testing due to time commitments to University.”
We’d like to give a big cheer for our 3 drivers, onwards and upwards, we look forward to hearing how you’re doing in your next race which will take place in September.
